Hal Leonard Virtual Music Education Summit

As we prepare for the 2021-2022 school year, we are all looking FORWARD to rebuilding our music programs and engaging our students in class and at home. This free virtual music education summit will provide two days of live presentations, with a carefully-selected program focused on preparing K12 music educators for a successful school year while celebrating music education.

BW Orchestra Teacher Institute

This two-day workshop is designed for string or non-string specialists who teach elementary, middle, or high school orchestra. The Conservatory String Teacher Institute is a wonderful opportunity for orchestra directors to develop their teaching skills under the guidance of Conservatory faculty. Through hands-on experiences, participants will attend a variety of workshops that focus on string pedagogy, conducting, score preparation/interpretation, rehearsal techniques, and relevant topics for today’s orchestra teacher. Time will be provided for networking with other participants and the workshop faculty.
